O’Kelly optimistic of Hereford survival
Richard O’Kelly is optimistic over Hereford United Football Club’s survival chances.
A goalless draw with Northampton Town resulted in the Bulls moving off the foot of the League Two table, to be replaced by Macclesfield Town with two games remaining.
The Edgar Street club are still two points adrift of safety, but manager O’Kelly is in an optimistic mood that he can lead his side away from the relegation places.
“If we go into the last game of the season, the fate will be in our own hands," he said. "If the players show work rate, commitment and togetherness we could be in with a shout.”
