Erik Pieters is keen on joining Newcastle United Football Club.

The Holland international was heavily linked with a move to St James Park in the summer, but a move failed to materialise and a foot injury prevented a deal in January.

However, should the Magpies renew their interest in Pieters, 23, when the window reopens, his agent has indicated that the PSV Eindhoven left-back will be all-ears.

“Newcastle United is a fantastic club,” Piet van der Pol told The Journal. "If they come in for Erik of course he will be interested in talking to them.”
