Arsenal Football Club are said to be in advanced talks to sign Yann M’Vila.

Arsene Wenger was desperate to sign the France international last summer, but he couldn’t persuade Rennes to lower their asking price of around £22million.

The Gunners coach remains a huge fan of the midfield player, though, and it looks increasingly likely that a deal could be struck in the coming weeks.

The Ligue 1 side have agreed to sell M’Vila this year, and reports in France claim Arsenal are in advanced talks about signing the 21-year-old for around £18million.
