Liverpool will be facing competition from a number of clubs for Luuk de Jong this summer.

Kenny Dalglish is eager to bolster his attacking options when the window reopens, and he has reportedly made the 21-year-old striker one of his top targets.

De Jong has been in prolific form for Twente this season, but his agent has warned the Anfield boss that he will have stiff competition for his signature when the window reopens.

"Liverpool are following Luuk closely. But so are 15 other clubs," Luis Laros told Voetbal International. “We will keep our eyes and ears open in the next few weeks.”
