Charlton Athletic are thought to be leading the chase for Stuart Beavon.

The striker has scored an impressive 25 goals for Wycombe Wanderers this season, and this has led to speculation linking him with a move during the summer.

Beavon is out of contract with the Chairboys at the end of the campaign, and a number of clubs are said to be keen on his signature.

It is believed leading this pack is League One champions Charlton, who could be about to offer the 27-year-old the chance to pit his wits in the Championship.
