Roberto Mancini believes Tottenham Hotspur will resist all bids for Gareth Bale.

The Wales international has emerged as one of the best talents in European football over the past couple of years, and he has been linked with a host of clubs.

Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini admits he is a huge fan of Bale, but the Italian can’t see Tottenham cashing in on the 22-year-old during the coming window.

"Gareth Bale is a fantastic player," said the Etihad Stadium manager ahead of the Blues trip to Newcastle United. "But I don't think he will leave a big team like Tottenham."
