Jose Semedo hopes both Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United are promoted.

Wednesday host Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, and will book a return to the Championship if they match how United get on at Exeter City.

There is mush rivalry between the Owls and the Blades in the Steel City, but Semedo hopes both of them climb out of League One even though one will have to do so via the playoffs.

"I hope everything goes well for us and I hope we get there," he said. "But I hope United get there too because this city cannot live without the derby.

"This season was unbelievable, it was the best two games of my life and I have played in Milan. To see the atmosphere, the city needs it."
