Roberto Di Matteo has hailed his Chelsea Football Club stars.
Goals from Ramires and Didier Drogba gave the Blues a 2-1 FA Cup final win over Liverpool on Saturday, which is likely to lead to more calls for Di Matteo’s permanent appointment.
The Italian could well argue that bringing silverware to the club earns him a longer-term deal, but he was instead keen to turn the attention on his players.
"These players have been magnificent for me, the shift we have put in in the last eight weeks, it's been quite incredible,” said Di Matteo.
"We are very happy today that we have brought the trophy back to Stamford Bridge, the players had a lot of desire to today and we hung on and managed to get over the line."
