Swindon Town make O’Kane bid
10:00 AM 07 May, 2012
Swindon Town Football Club have reportedly made a bid for Eunan O’Kane.

Having won the League Two title this season, manager Paolo Di Canio is already making plans to add to his squad ahead of their League One campaign.

According to skysports.com, the Italian coach has wasted little time in tabling an offer for O’Kane, who looks certain to leave Torquay United this summer.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international has also been linked with a host of rival clubs, and his contract at Plainmoor is thought to hold a £200,000 release clause.

I recently steatrd a 20 mile loop only to end up running 29 instead. Not real sore tho, surprisingly. As for bandits, I as a race director see them as the lowest of low. Generally races are run for charity/to benefit someone in some way. By not paying to run the race it is a slap to not only those who meticulously planned the course and went through all the trouble to get insurance, volunteers, food, water, etc., but also to those benefiting from the race entry fee. Even a small time 5K is an expensive undertaking. What's $10-$20? If you want to use the same route, wait or pay.
