Dani Alves is set to snub interest from Manchester City Football Club.

Roberto Mancini has reportedly made the Brazilian international an ambitious want for his Manchester City side, as he plots a bid on the UEFA Champions League.

Alves has earned a reputation as one of the best attacking right fullbacks in world football, and he has enjoyed a hugely successful spell at Barcelona since 2008.

The 28-year-old remains under contract at the Camp Nou until 2015, and reports in Spain suggest he would rather extend this deal than head to the Etihad Stadium.
