Arsene Wenger has already begun his summer planning, having lure German international Lukas Podolski from Cologne for a fee in the region of £10million.

The Gunners coach remains keen to further add to his attacking options, and latest reports suggest he has been keeping tabs on Holland international Dost.

The 22-year-old, who has ruled out a move to Aston Villa in recent weeks, has been in sparkling form for Heerenveen this term, hitting 30 goals in 33 league games.
