David Moyes has no interest in selling Leighton Baines this summer.

As Sir Alex Ferguson looks for more competition for Patrice Evra at left fullback, the Manchester United boss is thought to have identified the England international.

It has been suggested that the Reds boss is prepared to pay as much as £10million for Baines, but Moyes will block any bids that arrive for the 27-year-old.

Just last week, the Toffees manager said: “It will be important that we keep hold of our best players. We lost Mikel Arteta (to Arsenal) last year, but I don’t want to sell.”
