Boss rules out Peterborough exit
10:30 AM 09 May, 2012
Darren Ferguson has no intention of quitting Peterborough United Football Club.

The 40-year-old has been linked with the vacant position at Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are on the lookout for a new boss and have just been relegated.

Ferguson enjoyed a successful spell at Molineux during his playing days, but he insists when he returns there next season he will be in the opposing dugout with the Posh.

"It's certainly not me putting the money on," he told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph. "I have had no contact with Wolves and I don't expect any."

"I used to play there so maybe that's why I've been mentioned. But I'm just looking forward to going back to Wolves to play them as it's another fantastic fixture for a club like ours."
