Stale Solbakken can’t wait to get started at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The former Wimbledon midfielder has been appointed as new manager of the Molineux club, who will ply their trade in the Championship next term following their relegation.
“I am delighted to be taking up the important challenge to manage Wolves,” he said. "It's an exciting opportunity to manage a great club and I can't wait to get started."
Solbakken was axed as manager of German side Cologne last month, but before this the 44-year-old led Danish side Copenhagen to five league titles.
