Michel Vorm would not join Arsenal just to sit on the bench.

It has been suggested that Arsene Wenger is interested in the Holland goalkeeper, who has enjoyed a fine debut Premier League season with Swansea City.

It is believed the Gunners coach wants Vorm to provide back-up to regular number one Wojciech Szczesny, but the 28-year-old has no intention to sit on the bench.

“I think I will stay at Swansea. I like it here,” he said. "I am No.1 and we play the league's best football. Why should I go and sit on the bench somewhere?"
