Stoke City Football Club are considering making a bid for Nicklas Bendtner.

The Denmark international has spent the season on loan at Sunderland, having fallen well down the pecking order at Arsenal in recent times.

Bendtner admits he wants to quit the Emirates Stadium on a permanent basis when the window reopens, but he has not ruled out staying in England.

The 23-year-old still has two years left on his Gunners deal, but Tony Pulis is thought to be hopeful of luring him to the Britannia Stadium in an £8million switch.
