Owen Coyle feels Bolton Wanderers were hard done by on Sunday afternoon.

The Whites were held to a 2-2 draw at Stoke City on the final day of the season, and this wasn’t enough to see them overhaul Queens Park Rangers.

This means Bolton will be plying their trade in the Championship next term, but Coyle feels his cause wasn’t helped by the officials at the Britannia Stadium.

“My feelings are obviously with our supporters and our wonderful club,” he told Sky Sports. "I felt that we did enough to win the game after a slow start but the decisions - you've seen them yourself today.
