Leicester City Football Club are closing on Matty James and Ritchie De Laet.

The Manchester United duo are well down the pecking order for places in the Manchester United side, and Sir Alex Ferguson is prepared to let them move on.

Defender De Laet has already spent time away from Old Trafford during a number of loan spells, whilst midfielder James has yet to make his Premier League debut.

It is believed both players are now set to join Championship side Leicester, who are hoping to make a bid for Premier League promotion next term.
