Manchester United are interested in Robert Lewandowski, claims his agent.

The Poland international striker has been in fine form for Borussia Dortmund this season, hitting 30 goals as they won the league and cup double.

Lewandowski has declined an offer to extend his stay beyond 2014, and his agent has now claimed that United are interested in the 23-year-old.

"I can confirm that the offer of Borussia Dortmund is insufficient," Maik Barthel told Bild. "I am also able to confirm an interest of Manchester United.”
