Kieran Richardson is a summer target for Reading Football Club.

Having secured their return to the Premier League, the Royals are now identifying targets to boost their squad ahead of next season.

And according to reports, manager Brian McDermott has made former Manchester United midfielder Richardson, who can also play at fullback, a top target.

The 27-year-old is down to the final 12 months of his contract at Sunderland, and the Madejski Stadium club would look to take him for around £3million.
