Daniel Majstorovic has left Celtic Football Club.

The 35-year-old has spent the past two years at Parkhead, although the most recent season has been interrupted by a knee injury picked up in February.

Majstorovic is out of contract this season, and it is of little surprise to learn that he has left the Bhoys and signed a two-year deal with AIK Stockholm in his homeland.

The Swede, who has also played for Twente, Basel and AEK Athens, has been ruled out of Sweden’s Euro 2012 plans as he continues to battle back from injury.
