Luka Modric could seek to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the coming weeks.

In what was a summer-long saga last year, the Croatian international was keen to move to Chelsea who had made an offer of around £35million to land him.

Spurs refused to sell, but as the window prepares to swing open for clubs to conduct their business, Modric is far from certain to stay at White Hart Lane.

“I will decide about my future after the Euros,” he told the Daily Mirror. "I will make the decision where to continue my career. I'm ready for the big tests."

Chelsea are set to bid for Modric if they beat Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final, which would cost Tottenham their place in the competition next term.
