Stevan Jovetic has emerged as a potential target for Manchester City.
Now that a first league title in 44 years has safely been locked up in the Etihad Stadium trophy cabinet, Roberto Mancini has set his sights on the UEFA Champions League.
Once again the Italian coach will be given cash to spend when the window reopens, and it is believed Montenegro international Jovetic is a target.
Although the 22-year-old forward only signed a new deal with Fiorentina last year, reports in Italy claim the Serie A side are prepared to cash in for around £20million.
However, despite these suggestions, Viola administrator Sandro Mencucci told Gazzetta dello Sport: "We want to build our future around Jovetic. He has a contract until June 2016.”
