Rotherham United are likely to make an improved bid for Matt Tubbs.

Millers manager Steve Evans knows the striker well from their time together at Crawley Town, before both left the club earlier this year.

Tubbs is now under contract at Bournemouth, who have rejected a record bid from Rotherham for his signature already this week.

However, Evans remains determined to sign the 27-year-old, though, and is likely to make a fresh move to land him in the coming days.
