Hartlepool United Football Club have signed Jonathan Franks.

The 22-year-old winger spent the past three months at Yeovil Town following his release by Middlesbrough, and made 14 appearances for the League One club.

Franks will now remain in the third-tier of English football next season, yet not at Huish Park after he agreed a move to Victoria Park instead.

The former England Under-20 international, who also represented his country at five other age levels, becomes Hartlepool manager Neale Cooper’s first signing of the summer.
