Luis Suarez will be offered a new contract and pay rise to stay at Liverpool.

Despite the controversy of his race row with Manchester United’s Patrice Evra, the Uruguayan international has been a big hit since his move to Anfield.

The Reds paid around £22million to lure Suarez from Ajax in January 2011, and he is under contract at the currently managerless Merseyside club until 2016.

And with reports suggesting moneybags Paris St Germain are lining up a bid for the 25-year-old forward, it is believed he could be in line for a bumper new deal at his current club.
