Manchester City have not made an approach to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

It was suggested in the Manchester Evening News last week that Roberto Mancini was set to make a move for a player he worked with at Internazionale.

However, Ibrahimovic remains under contract at Milan until the summer of 2015, and the Rossoneri insist the Premier League champions have not been in touch over the 30-year-old.

"It is not true that Manchester City asked for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He will win the UEFA Champions League with the Milan shirt," vice-president Adriano Galliani said.
