Scott Shearer has rejected the offer of a new contract at Crawley Town.
The 31-year-old featured 25 times as the Red Devils secured promotion to League One this season, and he was hoping to extend his stay at the club.
However, Shearer has rejected Crawley’s opening offer, and the goalkeeper could now leave on a free transfer when his contract expires next month.
“I've got a family to think about and the deal they offered me didn't suit me,” he told the Crawley News. "I felt they thought less of me than what I think of myself."
