Kevin Doyle insists he will not be returning to Reading Football Club.
The Republic of Ireland international striker is expected to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, following their relegation from the Premier League.
A return to former club Reading, who have just been promoted as Championship winners, has been mooted, but Doyle thinks such a move would be a bad idea.
"I don't think, personally, you should ever go back. Everyone says it's never the same," the 28-year-old told Sky Sports. "My four years was brilliant and I wouldn't like to ruin that.”
