Middlesbrough Football Club are in talks to sign Emmanuel Ledesma.

The 23-yaer-old Argentine returned to Walsall midway through last season, and he played a key role in keeping the Saddlers in League One.

And whilst Deal Smith is determined to keep hold of Ledesma for next season, it has been revealed that the midfielder could be about to join Championship side Boro.

"We are talking with Middlesbrough, yes - but nothing has been signed yet," agent Lucas Cominelli told Sky Sports. "We are just awaiting the offer and we will see from there.”
