Sunderland Football Club are keen on Lee Chung-yong.
The South Korean international missed much of last season with a broken leg, which is seen by many as a key factor in Bolton Wanderers losing their Premier League status.
Martin O’Neill is prepared to offer Lee an instant return to the top-flight at the Stadium of Light, but the 24-year-old will take his time on deciding what his immediate future holds.
"I haven't thought about my future yet," he told the Bolton News. "The season has just finished and I just want to take some holiday now.
“I'm not going to hurry to think about my future because we have a few months before next season, but I can say now that I am a Bolton Wanderers player.”
