Scott Laird has agreed a move to Preston North End Football Club.

The left back is out of contract at Stevenage this summer, and he has agreed a deal to be reunited with his former manager Graham Westley at Deepdale.

“When Graham showed a bit of interest and wanted to bring me here I was chuffed. I had already made my mind up to come to Preston,” said the 24-year-old.

In what has already been a busy summer for the League One club, Laird is now the eighth new signing as Westley makes the wholesale changes he promised last term.
