Yakubu admits he could quit Blackburn Rovers Football Club this summer.

The Nigerian only joined the Lancashire club last year from Everton, and although he scored 17 goals, he couldn’t prevent them from relegation.

Yakubu admits he doesn’t fancy the idea of playing in the Championship next season, although he insists he is happy at Ewood Park.

"I still have two years left with Blackburn, but I played in the Championship before," said the striker. "It was good but I don't want to play in there again.

"I feel at home there (Blackburn) but we'll see what is going to happen. I think it's too early to say whether I'll be moving on. I may be in the Championship. I may be in the Premier League."
