West Ham United Football Club are interested in Yakubu.

Having led the Hammers back into the Premier League at the first attempt, Sam Allardyce has set his sights on a mid-table finish next term.

The United manager has been told he has cash to spend when the window reopens, and Fans FC believe he is interested in luring Yakubu to the capital.

The 29-year-old has just been relegated with Blackburn Rovers, and Allardyce is prepared to offer the striker a route back to the top-flight in a £5million deal.
