Mauro Formica is wanted by West Bromwich Albion Football Club.

The Argentine midfielder played 34 times in the Premier League last season, but was unable to prevent Blackburn Rovers suffering relegation.

Formica remains under contract at Ewood Park until the summer of 2014, but the Lancashire club are likely to look to offload him ahead of next season.

And it is believed the Baggies, despite being currently without a manager, are interested in the 24-year-old and are lining up a £1.5million bid.
