Brendan Rodgers aims to make Giovani dos Santos one of his first Liverpool signings.

The Northern Irishman has agreed to leave Swansea City to succeed Kenny Dalglish as Reds manager, and he will be given plenty of cash to spend this summer.

Rodgers had lined up a deal to take Giovani to the Liberty Stadium, and it is believed he will maintain his interest in the Tottenham Hotspur forward.

The 23-year-old has endured a miserable time at White Hart Lane, and Harry Redknapp could be prepared to accept around £4million for the Mexican.
