Gregory van der Wiel admits he would be interested in a move to Chelsea.

The Blues have been linked with the Holland international for some time, and have been tipped to make a move for his signature following the release of Jose Bosingwa.

Van der Wiel, currently of Ajax, insists he has not been approached by the European champions, but the right fullback would welcome such an opportunity.

"I didn't hear anything from my manager, I think it is just rumours and we will see in the future what comes," the 24-year-old defender told Sky Sports News.

When asked if he would be keen on a move to the Blues, he said: “Of course I would, it is a beautiful club. I watch a lot of English football and they won the Champions League.”
