Branislav Ivanovic is staying at Chelsea Football Club, insists his agent.

The Serbian international has been at Stamford Bridge since January 2008, and last season played his part in the Blues UEFA Champions League success.

Ivanovic has been linked with a move to Napoli in recent weeks, but it now appears certain that the 28-year-old will remain in London with his current club.

"Ivanovic extended his contract until 2016 and wants to meet the terms of that deal," the defender’s agent, Vlado Borozan, told tuttosport.

"Chelsea want to keep him and he has no plans to leave the club, and I don't know if his wages would be within the economic reach of Napoli."
