Scunthorpe United target Christian Ribeiro claims to have a few clubs keen on him.

The fullback is a free agent this summer following the expiry of his Bristol City contract, and he has been linked with a return to Scunthorpe.

Ribeiro enjoyed a loan spell at the Iron last season, but the Wales international has revealed that he has a number of potential new employers.

"I'm talking to a few clubs now,” he told Sky Sports. "It is exciting because you get the chance to speak to managers and they try to sell their club to you.”

United manager Alan Knill last week admitted he may be priced out of a move for the 22-year-old due to his wage demands, but he is understood to be keeping tabs on the situation.
