Real Madrid DENY Cristiano Ronaldo deal
Real Madrid admit they have not struck a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spaniards spent much of the summer trying to lure the Portugal international from Manchester United, who maintained all along they wouldn’t sell their star player.
Earlier this week the rumours of a summer move grew when an official from the Bernabeu revealed a deal was already in place, which sparked a fiery response from Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Reds manager told how he wouldn’t sell a ‘virus’ to Real let alone Ronaldo, and now the president of the Spanish champions has admitted no such deal involving the Ballon d’Or winner exists.
"It is absolutely false that there exists any agreement with Manchester United about this business, of which I am tired,” said Ramon Calderon. “The matter is totally dead.”
