Adams links up with Red Devils
09:30 AM 09 June, 2012
Nicky Adams has joined Crawley Town Football Club.

The midfielder was an ever-present for Rochdale last season, but he couldn’t prevent the Lancashire side slipping out of League One.

However, the 25-year-old will still be operating in the third tier of English football next term, having agreed a free transfer to the recently promoted Red Devils.

"I'm really pleased. I spoke to the gaffer (Sean O’Driscoll) and a few of the players. I've had a few offers from other clubs but this one seemed right,” Adams told Reds Player.

"It's not just that, but the club has had great success and I know a couple of the players. They all told me it's a really good club on the way up."

Just wanna point out how much more recognition Silva is geittng in the EPL. He hasn't improved that much since his Valencia days, yet now he is regarded as arguably the best midfielder in the world (I hear a lot of people putting him over Iniesta). He has always been great, yet when he was in La Liga, he was a good player among numerous midfielders on his level and higher. A player who has good technical abilities in Spain, usually ends up looking like Maradona in the EPL. Not saying La Liga is better than the EPL, just that the difference in technicality and passing is huge. Let's say Iniesta is the standard and is a 10/10. Then Silva is maybe around 8/10 or something like that. If Silva is this amazing in England, it just makes me think how guys like Xavi, Messi, and Iniesta would look if they played there
