Nicky Adams has joined Crawley Town Football Club.
The midfielder was an ever-present for Rochdale last season, but he couldn’t prevent the Lancashire side slipping out of League One.
However, the 25-year-old will still be operating in the third tier of English football next term, having agreed a free transfer to the recently promoted Red Devils.
"I'm really pleased. I spoke to the gaffer (Sean O’Driscoll) and a few of the players. I've had a few offers from other clubs but this one seemed right,” Adams told Reds Player.
"It's not just that, but the club has had great success and I know a couple of the players. They all told me it's a really good club on the way up."
