Mohamed Diame’s move to Liverpool Football Club is back on.

The Senegal international midfielder is available on a free transfer this summer, after he decided to leave Wigan Athletic at the end of his contract.

Diame had been lined up for a move to Anfield by Kenny Dalglish, but since the Scotsman was issued with his P45, the player’s switch to Merseyside has been in doubt.

However, it is believed new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is also an admirer of the 24-year-old, and he will look to add him to his squad in the coming days.
