Bruce wants Heskey at Hull City
11:30 AM 09 June, 2012
Steve Bruce wants to make Emile Heskey his first signing at Hull City Football Club.

The former Manchester United has been unveiled as the new manager of the Tigers, having last season lost his job as boss of Premier League side Sunderland.

Bruce is now plotting to be in a position to take on the likes of the Black Cats in the top-flight in the near future, and he plans to add more quality to his existing squad.

It is believed the top target for the new KC Stadium chief is former England international Heskey, who is available on a free transfer following the expiry of his Aston Villa contract.

The 34-year-old has made it clear that he is not yet ready to consider hanging up his boots, but former club Leicester City are likely to fight Bruce for his signature.
