Hatem Ben Arfa has no plans to leave Newcastle United Football Club.

The France international has been at St James Park since joining on an initial loan deal in 2010, which didn’t take long to become a permanent transfer.

Ben Arfa enjoyed an impressive campaign for United last term and this has led to speculation linking him with Internazionale, who are set to spend heavily this summer.

However, the 25-year-old feels settled in England and in particular on Tyneside, and the midfielder has no plans to head elsewhere for the time being.

“Newcastle are a very big club, even if there are bigger ones,” Ben Arfa told L’Equipe. "I have settled in that team, I have trust from the coach, chairman and all the fans.

“I have never been settled like that. I feel important. I don't forget when the chairman signed me, while I was just loaned from Marseille, and I was injured."
