Tim Krul insists he has no plans to quit Newcastle United Football Club.

The Dutch goalkeeper is regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the Premier League, due to his sensational performances for the Magpies last season.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a £10million swoop for Krul, but the 24-year-old has no intention of breaking a contract he has only recently signed.

“It’s all just talk. I’ve signed my five-year contract and I’m committed to Newcastle United,” he said. “The club has not played in Europe for six years and I want to be a part of that.”
