Olivier Giroud is being tipped to join Arsenal Football Club.

Arsene Wenger is on the lookout to add to his attacking options this summer, and he has already clinched the signature of German star Lukas Podolski.

The Gunners have long been linked with France international Giroud, and reports suggest they are now closing in on the Montpellier hitman.

The 25-year-old helped his current club win the title last season, but he has a release clause in his contract of £12.5million which Wenger is happy to meet.

"Arsenal are very interested and Giroud wants to play in England, if Arsene agrees with the president, he will sign for them,” Montpellier coach Rene Girard told RMC.
