Everton hope to raise Johnson funds
Everton Football Club hope to raise the funds to sign Adam Johnson.
The former Middlesbrough winger started only ten games in the Premier League for Manchester City last term, which cost him his place in England’s Euro 2012 squad.
Johnson has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer, but City are refusing to let him leave on a loan deal.
Roberto Mancini, though, would accept around £12million for the 24-year-old, and David Moyes hopes to raise this cash in the coming weeks.
This would, however, mean the Toffees boss would have to lose one of his stars, with Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini attracting interest.
