Tony Pulis believes his Stoke City Football Club were extremely generous at Ewood Park.

Sam Allardyce took charge of Blackburn Rovers for the first time on Saturday, and he must have thought Christmas came early as the Potters gifted his side three goals within 27 minutes.

"We started really well and the stats say that they got in our box three times and scored three goals," Pulis told Sky Sports. "We are desperately disappointed.

“You cannot defend the way we have today and expect to win a game of football. Sam must think Christmas has come early. Our defending today was pretty abysmal.”
