Emile Heskey has yet to be contacted by Hull City Football Club.

The 34-year-old forward is available on a free transfer this summer after leaving Aston Villa, and he is prepared to drop down into the Championship.

New Tigers boss Steve Bruce is said to be keen on luring Heskey to the KC Stadium, but the former England international has yet to receive an offer.

"At present, I have not had any contact with any clubs about next season as of yet, and I have not even thought about making any decisions,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"At present, I am not ruling anything out though, and I certainly would not rule out playing in the Championship, as it is a very good division."
