Newcastle United Football Club have identified a possible replacement for Cheick Tiote.

The Ivory Coast international has made a huge impact at St James Park, but Alan Pardew accepts he could lose the midfielder if a big bid arrives.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with Tiote, who would command a fee in the region of £20million which could hand the Magpies a huge profit.

It is believed Pardew has already begun identifying potential replacements for the 25-year-old, with West Bromwich Albion’s Youssouf Mulumbu, the same age, leading the way.
